Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit Hashemite University in Zarqa. The president of the University, Dr. Al Hnatti, studied at Washington State University. We had a meeting with him, saw a video film about the university, toured the campus, learned about the library, and had lunch with the president and faculty members. We were also able to visit an English class, a chemistry class, and an art class. One picture shows me wearing a bracelet that a student presented to me. Another picture shows a watercolor that was presented to me. All the students were friendly, eager to practice their English, and proud of their beautiful university. I am eager to see what exciting experiences await with future days.
